Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time...not so long ago...in a land not so very far away...

There was a boy. A cute, shy, quiet boy.
There was also a girl. A not so shy, flirty, loud girl.

This boy and girl attended the same land for an education.
They were friends.

One day, this cute, shy, quiet boy decided he wanted to make his intentions known for the not so shy, flirty, loud girl. He had been patiently abiding his time while she flitted around school dating other not to amazing boys and finally had his chance after she had sworn off all courting for the time being, and was currently available to be swooned. This boy, although you may not have guessed it...was pretty much the most talented and greatest swooner in all the land...and he was about to make his move.

One day, the cute, shy, quiet boy completely caught the not so shy, flirty, loud girl off guard when he asked her to accompany him to his locker. Surprised, but curious, she walked with him down the main court. Little did the cute, shy, quiet boy know...for the past several weeks, the not so shy, flirty, loud girl had discovered a fluttery feeling in her stomach every time she would see or think about the cute, shy, quiet boy. They were friends...but she kinda hoped he got fluttery feelings when he thought about her too.

Once they arrived at his locker, the cute, shy, quiet boy reached inside and carefully pulled out a beautiful bouquet of the girls most favorite flowers in all the land...a flower she had only mentioned in passing weeks before that she loved. She knew then that this cute, shy, quiet boy had fluttery feelings for her too. She also knew that her heart would never ever be the same...because from that moment on, she was completely, utterly, and entirely smitten.

She has been ever since.

Every year, on the exact same day as the very first time...the boy surprises the girl with a beautiful bouquet of the bright, happy flowers that always make the girl smile and remind her of the moment when she knew she had met her one and only...

Gerber Daisies.

I realize that they're "just flowers"...but they mean a lot more to me than that.

Oh...and just so you know...the boy and girl are currently living their Happily Ever After...

We're still writing our story :)
