Tim's and my life changed forever.
I can still remember looking at my baby girl for the very first time and being filled with complete wonder at this amazing spirit that Heavenly Father had blessed us with.
Since then, she has filled our lives with incredible joy and laughter every single day.
While somedays are easier than others, we cannot imagine life without her.
It's amazing how becoming a parent changes everything.
Everything becomes better.
Everything has more meaning...
and the things you once thought were important,
really aren't.

She had a pretty good birthday if I do say so myself.
We spent the day at Lagoon as a family.
She felt special with her pink "Birthday Girl" button pinned to the front of her dress.
She had a princess pony painted on her face...twice.
She got to ride the carousel all by herself.
People wished her a Happy Birthday all day long.
We rode rides until she wanted to go home...which ended up being several hours longer than we imagined :)
She requested McDonald's for dinner.
Then...finished the night off right with a warm bubble bath.
Tomorrow should be pretty fun too...with lots of family and friends coming to spend the evening with her.
She even has a princess birthday cake.
This year, we decided to start the tradition of asking her the same questions every year on her birthday.
Here are her answers:
1. Who is your favorite person in the whole wide world? Mommy
2. What is your favorite color? Pink
3. What's your favorite television show? My Little Pony
